What a Safety Notice is
When a defect in the risk engine, a data source or a parser could have shown a status less restrictive than the inputs allowed, or hidden a hazard, FlyNook treats it as a SEV1 incident within 24 hours of finding it. Every organization and pilot whose briefings fall in the affected window is told directly (straight away when one of their flights departs in the next 72 hours), and the notice is published here.
